I converted a picture of
a dragon I found online into an applique pattern and pieced together a
really cute pillow. Sorry, I forgot where I found the dragon pattern,
but here's Tommy playing peek-a-boo with his dragon pillow. He's
an excellent dragon wrestler. :)
Of course, when he's not
dragon wrestling, he sometimes helps me quilt.
A bunch of my friends from
the Quilter’s Coven email
group each sent a block
with a wish or gift for
Tommy on it. There are gifts of love for animals,
inspiration, friends, health,
happiness and more, among the 27 blocks sent.

I sashed it with a snowy
swirl fabric because Tommy was born close to winter.
This was the first quilt
I had made in over five years!
Here's a “Fishy Quilt” that
I made for my daughter, Christa.
It was my first attempt
at using the "attic windows" pattern.

This was the first time I
used "set-in" or "Y" seams.
I was surprised at how well
the seams turned out.
I had more trouble aligning
the rows correctly than I did doing the seams!

This was my first ever Irish
Chain quilt.
It turned out HUGE!!! It
is the biggest quilt I have done to date.
I didn’t make it easy for
myself, as the fabric is ALL directional!!!
I somehow finished it just
in time for Brian's 18th birthday.

WARNING: This is a LARGE

One thing I've recently
started messing with are Dolls.

here to see some of them...
So now it's on to other projects.
I have so many in my head
I don't know which one to do first!!!
As I finish them, I'll be
posting more here... :)
