2002 D-36 Northern California, Cow Mountain

Been riding street bikes since 1968. Moved to the country, 10 acres,
in 1996. Got an '85 XL250 a little later. Learned a lot and jumped to
a CR500. Big jump!

Started racing in the fall of 2001. One race in D-36 northern
California. 4 digit plate number. 2002 d-36 3 digit plate 493. 2003
went desert racing D-37 more fun on the 500! I could get it in 5th
gear and fly. I turned 50 and joined the "Magnums" automatically
jumped to "Novice class". (Ha ha!) 2004 plate number M111. 2005 plate
number M62. So far no racing in 2005. I'm having trouble getting fit.
Hoping to stay 2 digit plate number.

My first bike 1966 CM91 I still ride it!
My first bike. 1966 CM91. Got it on my birthday in 1968. Dad kept it for a long time. Now I have it back. I ride it at least twice a week.

My son learned to ride on our track.

A better view of the 1/3 mile TT type pasture track.

I learned how to ride the dirt out here in the rural, Jolon area south of King City in Monterey county. I have 10 acres with a 1/3 mile dirt, TT type track. I'm never moving again! I've since sold the XL250 but kept my fuzzy mechanic and the 1950 Case VAC tractor.

'82 Honda CB450T "Hawk". 37 K miles on the clock. Bought new and used as daily transportation and recreation for 11 years 'til I got my first BMW, ('91 K100RS). I dropped the 450 once trying to slide the rear in the dirt! After I healed, I bought the XL.

'63 Honda C105 (50cc) Super Cub with "Rallye" kit . This one used to run until I parked it. It'll be something to restore when I have more time.

Favorite dirt riding areas: My back yard. *LOL*. Hollister Hills as noted above and number 1. On my list and #1on the BLM list in the link to Dirt Bike Riding Areas below. Clear Creek Management Area, 30mi. Northwest of Coalinga, CA (Mail Hollister Resource Area, 20 Hamilton Ct., Hollister, CA 95023-2535, Phone: 408/637-8183. MC 4WD, ATV.
