Salvation: An Answer For Man's Needs
This portion of our site is for the benefit of all people. We have
not attempted to denounce other religions, however, we have presented our
case for a need of man, that is salvation through Jesus Christ. Please
feel free to ramble as you will through here, and if you need please ask
questions by e-mail at
jtattebery@telis.org and I will be glad to answer you as best I can from
the Torah (first five books of the law), the writings, from the prophets,
and the 23 books of the New Testament. I will be using a New King
James Version, but will be examining the more deeper issues contained within
the structure itself. The passages are available to you, to use any
translation you desire and see fit to you.

| Man's nature is to do what is pleasing and right in his/her own eyes.
He/she would have some form of worship, but not always the Creator. God
is replaced with themselves, some form of the creation, or a God of the
making--understanding. Thus, they figure they can work their way to
God, becoming God equal and not needing his help. The common thought is
"All Paths Lead to God!" is a true statement, yet, unfinished as the
results of those path, is either Judgment/Death or Life Eternal
|
The price for Sin's punishment is death. First death to our own
conscious, emotions and what ever personality we might languish. Later,
we physical die, but what really happens after death. Do we just end in
a sea of nothing? Do we continue on in a river of trials attempting to
be good enough for some aspect of heaven? What does the "Ancient of
Days", the "Lamb of God" have to do with the great and terrible "Day of
the Lord"? It is appointed upon every man a day to die, but after this
the judgment! |

|
| Is "Hell" a real place or just a figment of man's imagination? Are we
really here only to pretend of the measures of punishment from a God
who loves us, or resents our behavior? What is this thing called,
"Hell" and does the Bible talk about it? What is its purpose? |
| "Atonement for your souls for sin" is the required adage for
sanctification. Blood shed, to atone for sin was the requirement by
God in the temple. What did Jesus do, which made this a permanent
action by our mere faith in it, acknowledging Jesus Christ as being
alive, and acceptance of it? The scripture says, "Whosoever
believes on him, will not be put to shame." |

| The subject of forgiveness is one, which brings allot of people to the
point of rage and even revenge. Why should I forgive, what is in it for
me? This exposes the differences between forgiveness and absolution,
and why we need both. We are human and in our humanness we need to
learn to not only forgive, but also accept forgiveness and display this
result in our lives. |
The subject of Jesus Christ raises many questions and emotions.
Salvation and atonement are rarely a focus of people's attention. Was
Jesus just deluded, or was there something to him, which has caused the
world as a whole to be changed. When we worship, was is it ok to
worship Jesus? What is he to us today? |

|
|
The foundation of our life in Christ has been upon these
facts:
 |
Our nature is that of sin. |
 |
The wages of sin is death. |
 |
Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of prophecy and is
still alive today. |
 |
Atonement comes through the shed blood of Jesus
Christ. |
In the
Life
Afterwards, we begin to discuss the basics of living this new
Christian life. Where do we go for answers? and what is this new
Christian life style all about? These are the simple foundations
discussed for the new Christian life. |
