The Bengal breed started as a hybrid crossing of the Asian Leopard Cat to a domestic cat. All Bengals (except the Cincinnati kind), started with an Asian Leopard Cat. That's why they look like a touch of the jungle. Check out how the generations progress and see "The Generation Gap". The Bengal is a domestic cat that can be shown in cat shows and loves people gets along wonderfully with other pets too!
