
Nuttallina crossata Berry, 1956
This elongated chiton has a width less than one-half its average 13-15mm length. The surface of the valves coarsely granular, with the granules irregularly obliquely aligned. Lateral areas distinctly elevated. Color of the valves is light grayish buff, varyingly speckled or striped with dark brown. The girdle is narrow, minutely spiny, with many scattered large spines like daggers along the margin and at the sutures.
