Ischnochito muscarius (Reeve, 1847)

This 20 mm chiton has valves colored ashy-gray with with brown spots over the central area and brown lines on the lateral area. The girdle is moderate in width and vaguely banded with the valve colors. It is covered with medium-sized, slightly bent, round-topped, glossy, imbricating scales. Lateral areas little raised, clearly defined by the difference in sculpture.
