Onithochiton neglectus de Rochebrune, 1881
This one inch chiton is eliptical in shape. The color of the valves is brown with scattered buff markings. The central areas are smooth while the lateral areas are radially granose. The girdle is moderately wide, brown and satiny. Taken from Pilsbry
Illustrated specimen is from the Gudnason Collection, now in Burghardt Collection and has been rearticulated without girdle.
