
Oldroydia percrassa (Dall, 1894)
This one and one-quarter inch chiton has a minutely scaled medium wide girdle profusely covered with glassy spines. The girdle extends between the valves to the jugal ridge. Mucro is median and less prominent. Sculpture of central area is wavy longitudinal ribs. Lateral areas are faintly defined by ridges. Color of valves is reddish buff with matching girdle.
