Chiton viridus Spengler, 1797 This three inch chiton is very similar to Chiton squamosus Linne, 1764. The margins of the central areas have six to eleven very short, wavy ribs, and the lateral areas have three or four strong ribs of rounded pustules. Girdle has alternating pale stripes of grayish green and grayish white. Scaley girdle.
