Hi... I'm Cid and welcome to my first CD, "The Dragon's Waltz..." It is a compilation of songs I recorded during 1998-1999 through my computer. I've been playing guitar, mainly acoustic 12 string, for about 23 years and this is the very first recording I've attempted as a solo project... all of the instruments and vocals are me with a little help from some computerized post processing... Most of the songs were recorded in a single take, just me and my 12 string in front of the computer, but a few of them were my attempts at "over-dubbing"... Due to the methodology I had to employ to achieve this multi-tracking effect, a frequency shift was also unfortunately introduced into the guitar tones... so if it sounds to you like the guitar is out of tune, now you know why...
The 18 tracks on this CD consist of 13 covers of "real" songs and 5 "originals" co-written with my cousin, the March Hare... I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation and apologies to the original artists and authors...
Since all the original wave files are between 30 and 60 meg each, the CD itself is a little too large to have available for download, so I've recently started converting all the individual wavs into RealAudio streaming format to make it easier to get my attempts at music out to my adoring public... click on the links below to sample some of the CD...
