The Electronic Journal of Surgery and Specialistic Medicine

an excellent new online publication, and to submit articles for
inclusion as follows:

The Electronic Journal of Surgery and Specialistic Medicine is
published in writing and digital edition. All manuscripts must be
sent to the publisher:

dispatch by ordinary mail).
Manuscripts must be sent in English language and they must be signed
by the Authors. The Authors should submit the original and one copy,
with two sets of illustrations, and should retain one complete copy.
The journal is not responsible for losses in the mail.
Articles are received only for exclusive publication in this journal,
with the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (in
part or in full, in other words, or in the same words) and will not be
submitted elsewhere unless rejected by the journal. Published
manuscripts become the sole property of the journal. Decisions
concerning editing, revisions, acceptances, and rejections will be
made by the Editors.
Preparation of Manuscripts
--------------------------
Copies, including text, footnotes, bibliographies, legends, tables,
and headings must be type-written double-spaced, on A4 format, in
preference saved on floppy disk by a word processor (Ms-DOS or Mac).
The title page should carry the full title of the article, followed by
the Authors' names, degrees, and cities. An abstract of not more than
200 words with key words should accompany every original article. The
illustrations accepted are photos, slides, drawings, graphs and
diagrams. Legends are required for illustrations and should be typed
on separate pages. For accepted articles, we cannot be expected to
return illustrations to the Author(s).
References
The references must be typed on separate pages. References to journal
articles should include: 1) Author(s), 2) title, 3) journal name (as
abbreviated in Index Medicus), 4) year 5) volume number and, the first
page number in that order. References to books should include: 1)
Author(s), 2) chapter title, 3) editor, 4) title of book, 5) city of
publication, 6) publisher, and 7) year. Volume and edition numbers,
specific pages, and name of translator(s) should be included when
appropriate. The Author is responsible for the accuracy and
completeness of the references.
Distribution
EJS is published two times annually, one volume per year. Printed
edition and reprints may be ordered from the publisher. The published
articles in the half-yearly numbers are visible on the Internet as
well.
