WSLCo. 24' Hammond Flat Car Kit

The prototype for this On3 (1:48, 3' gauge) kit is the West Side Lumber Co.'s early 24' logging flat cars built by the Hammond company at the turn of the century. (This is a minor correction over our previous information. The Carter built cars had stake pockets, body hung brakes, and different needle beams from the Hammond built cars. Our kit reflects the details of the Hammond built cars, not the Carter built cars.) This car is also typical of many logging flats used in California around this time and would make an excellent addition to any logging layout. Only available in runs of 100 a year, don't miss out (contact us for availability)!

Need a second opinion about just how good our car kits really are? Check out the review in the April/May 2001 issue of Light Iron Digest, page 17!
