Note: E-mail is not a secure way of sending information over the internet. Please don't send us personal information, such as your credit card number, via e-mail. Thanks.
Also note that we recently received this notice from our internet provider, please make sure any e-mails you send us are free of attachments with the extensions listed below or we will not receive them. Also, we use Macs and non-MS software, so such e-mail "viruses" you might receive won't (technically speaking can't) originate with us.

"05-22-02 - 2:15pm We have seen a tremendous increase in virus laden e-mail traffic during the last few weeks. Some of the new virus strains can come in with an e-mail and execute without any action of the recipient. For this reason, we have chosen to have the main InReach.com mail server begin refusing to process mail that has an attachment with the following extensions: .bat MS-DOS Batch File (.bat) .com MS-DOS Application (.com) .exe Windows Application (.exe) .pif Shortcut to MS-DOS Program (.pif) .scr Windows Screen Saver (.scr) .shs Windows Shell Scrap Object (.shs) .vbs Microsoft VBScript Script File (.vbs) Our first step will be to block mail with attachments containing these extensions from being relayed out of our network. This is being done to prevent other networks from blocking our mail servers. In the near future, we will also begin blocking inbound mail. Does this mean that nobody can send any of these kinds of files through our mail servers? No. If a customer needs to send these kinds of files they have two options: First, they can rename the file to change the extension. This will allow the file through the filter as a safe executable that the recipient can rename back to its original name. Second, they can zip the files into an archive that will easily pass through our server. The InReach Team"
