Dealer and Manufacturer Terms

The following is a list of our dealer and manufacturer terms. They are available to all hobby shops, dealers, businesses, manufacturers, etc. that agree to and meet the following requirements. All those wishing to be a FMW dealer must also hold a valid seller's permit, resale permit, or equivalent and must provide FMW with such information before terms can be established. FMW does not normally offer exclusive distributing rights for its' products. You may place an order or contact us by FAX or e-mail at any time, but please restrict voice calls to the hours listed in Contacting FMW.

Structure Kit/Car Kit/Detail Part Lines:

  • 30% off current suggested retail.
  • $135.00 net minimum order (kits can be mixed).
  • Shipping: UPS shipping charges will be billed on invoice.
  • Available to hobby shops and dealers.

Bulk Detail Parts:

  • Prices and minimums quoted on individual basis.
  • Shipping: UPS shipping charges will be billed on invoice.
  • Available to manufacturers only.

Special Product Lines:

The following product lines are not available to dealers through Foothill Model Works either because they special limited run items or because we are only dealers rather than distributors for these products:

  • The Industrial Series in Classic Brass - limited run and custom built basis only.
  • MacLeod Western Detail Parts - contact manufacturer for dealer terms.
  • Lenz DCC product line - contact manufacturer for dealer terms.
  • SoundTraxx™ DCC product line - contact manufacturer for dealer terms.

Payment Terms:

  • 2% discount (excluding shipping) for cash or for payment within 10 days of invoice date.
  • Net 30 days.
  • Your initial order must be C.O.D. or prepaid in order to establish credit.
  • A service charge of 1-1/2% per month, 18% per year, will be assessed on the outstanding balance of all past due accounts; with a monthly minimum charge of $0.50.
  • We will not ship to hobby shops, dealers, or manufacturers with past due accounts. Dealers with a history of late payments, will be placed on C.O.D. terms and/or will loose the 2% early payment discount. However, they will retain all the other discounts described in this listing of terms, providing the minimum order is met.
  • You may pay with Visa or Master Card if you prefer.
