Foothill Model Works is proud to announce that it is a dealer for SoundTraxx™'s line of DCC Products and Digital Sound System Decoders. Long known to the HO Scale DCC crowd for their high quality sound systems, Foothill Model Works is now helping bring these decoders to the narrow gauge market. Unlike most conventional DC sound systems, their system for producing realistic steam and diesel sounds allows each engine on the layout to produce the correct sound for its' particular prototype, independently (you can even mix steam and diesel on the same throttle/track/layout!) from all of the other sound equipped engines on the layout. This is also the DCC system we have chosen to use on our own home layout (using Lenz back EMF motor decoders and command stations and SoundTraxx™ DSX Digital Sound decoders for sound). The following is our current price and availability list - at 15% off! SoundTraxx's full line is, of course, available for order; we just list those items most commonly used by our customers.
