"Come relax in the desert weather of early winter and enjoy the incomparable scenery of the Black Canyon. Below Hoover Dam and the waters of Lake Mead is a dramatic quiet water gorge which is perfect for sea kayak touring.... With the Colorado River wide and mellow here, we paddle about 25 miles on the river over 4 days, looking for desert bighorn sheep, hiking the side canyons, soakin in hot springs, and camping under brilliant stars."

If you know me, you know that I signed up!

My friends and I signed up for the kayaking trip through California Canoe and Kayak. Our guides for this tour were Greg Meyer from Great Expeditions, Tim, and JT (short for John Thomas). I never did find out either of their last names......or anyone else's for that matter. Who cares....we had a great time! For more info, keep reading...it gets better!

The whole group.....minus the photographer....
