That's me hard at work. 46K JPG.
...and then here's what I do after work, play 9 Ball. 35K JPG. (Yes, I know my grip
is wrong. :P)
I had your usual ho-hum life in San Jose, CA, through the 3rd grade, then my parents split up and I found myself in Los Angeles. After going through several usual ho-hum years in the <sarcasm>wonderful</sarcasm> public school system (Roscomare Road Elementary, Emerson Jr. High, University High in West LA), I went to UCLA and graduated in 4 years + 1 quarter (which by current standards is faster than average). I got my degree in (this is a mouthful) "Mathematics and Applied Science, with a Specialization in Computing." Due to my near-complete lack of a social life (friends) during those years, I ended up with Magna Cum Laude honors and a Phi Beta Kappa key. Whee. If you wish, you can visit the UCLA web site and the Math Department web site.
After college, I got a job on the Norton AntiVirus team at Symantec Corp. in Santa Monica, CA. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong time to leave Symantec, as the software market went downhill shortly afterwards. Oh well... The Gap is probably thankful, because I've gotten all my interviewing clothes from them. In case you're a hiring manager, my resume is here in Word and HTML formats.
