For those of you who are curious about what kind of camera equipment and film I use, I figure I might as well answer those questions here.
I used 2 cameras, a Canon A2 and previously a Canon Elan, both fine cameras. I also own a Canon 100 Macro, Canon 35-135, Canon 75-300 IS, and a Sigma 18-35. My flash is a Canon 540EZ. For anyone looking for fine equipment, I recommend these all highly.
The film of choice for me is Kodak Royal Gold 100, 200 and 400. I have found the picture quality and color to be excellent.
Recently I purchased both a Canon D60 and then a Canon 10d. My current lenses are Canon 17-40, Canon 100 macro, Canon 100-400L and Canon 28-235 IS.
All of my 35mm shots were scanned in either by the Canon 4000 or Minolta 5400 Elite.
