Los Angeles County 1964 Private Duty Nurse, Worked throughout Los Angeles County in Medicine, Psychiatry, E.R. and Surgery. Responsible for administering medication and monitoring all physical signs of seriously ill patients in addition to maintaining all charts on said patients.
Broadview Convalescent Hosp.1965 Charge Nurse In charge of nursing staff of a 98 bed convalescent hospital and administered all medication and filled out all charts. Also responsible for contacting physicians for orders and modification of orders.
St. Joseph's Hospital, L.A.1966 Recovery Room Tech. Administered medication and monitored all physical signs of patients recovering from serious surgeries. Surgical technician with a specialty in surgeries requiring cryogenics.
L.A. College of Chiropractic 1967 Lectured and assisted in teaching Altered State Therapy at the College. Became a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Adult Education Programs 1975-1978 With approval of New Frontiers Institute initiated and taught classes throughout Contra Costa County on Altered States, E.S.P., Comparative physiology, Anatomy and Sociology of Dolphins and Man in addition to a course in Transpersonal Awareness.
During this same time period guest lectured at the Univ. of Calif., Berkeley in the Psychology Dept. and at John F. Kennedy University in Contra Costa County. Also substituted for instructors at John F. Kennedy University in their Psychology Dept.

Calif. Dept. of Education 1986 Approval of New Frontiers Institute, Inc. as an educational facility and gained approval to offer courses in Hypnosis and Hypno-therapist. Dr. Gierak was the only approved instructor. In 1987 conducted our first classes for professional healing arts license holders.
