About Us THE FIRM The firm began in 1984 with the association of Charles E. Richesin and David M. Silva. In 1998, Groom & Campora, A.C. associated with the firm to form Richesin, Silva & Groom. We currently employ 12 people including four Certified Public Accountants, three of which are partners. The firm participates in a Quality Review Program monitored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The standards imposed by this organization require strict adherence to a quality control program.
Fees Our fees are based on varying factors, including time required to complete each engagement plus out-of-pocket expenses. Individual billing rates are competitive and vary depending on the degree of skill required to keep our fees to a minimum consistent with the requirements of the engagement. Professional rates currently range from $60 to $150 per hour.
The Partners Charles Richesin, CPA – has over 24 years of accounting, tax and management services experience. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Charles has been involved in all aspects of public accounting including accounting systems design, installation and training. Budget development and review as well as tax planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts are part of his overall expertise. David Silva, CPA – has over 22 years of accounting, tax and management services experience. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fresno State University. David has significant experience with engagements in the agricultural, manufacturing, and trucking industries. His expertise also is in litigation support, forensic accounting, forecasts and projections, as well as tax structure planning. Steve Groom, CPA – has over 22 years of accounting, tax and management services experience. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Stanislaus. He attained the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst from the NACVA in 1995. He has been involved in all aspects of public accounting including auditing and review services, as well as tax research and planning. Steve has experience in the fields of business valuations, litigation support and estate taxation. |
