INDEPENDENCE DAY TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The Horse Thief Country Club’s annual Independence Day Flag Tournament was a huge success again this year. As usual, the Horse Thief Women’s Club did a wonderful job of running the tournament. The winners in the Women’s First Flight were Carol Duncan, Patti Wolf, Bettie Azevedo, and Joan Smullins. Second Flight winners were Mimi Thomas, Margie Williams, Marilyn Wells, and Ruth Ehret. In the Third Flight, the winners were Judy Theriault. Ingrid McManus, Gloria Beckett, and Barbara Chott.. In the Men’s Division, First Flight winners were Tommy Huff, Wayne Stuckey, Jim Dutchess, Steve Cherry, and Bill Duncan. Second Flight went to Jerry Ng, Bob Azevedo, Ed Jordan, Jim Dyer, Bob Bennett, and Dan Cavanaugh. Third Flight victors were Jack Chott, Tom Crumrine, Gary Olsen, Glen Simpson, and Jerry Wolf.
