DATE: Saturday, September 22, 2001

TIME: 3:30 P.M.

PLACE: Horsethief Golf Club

The meeting was called to order by outgoing President Bob Bennett. Additional board members present were Vice President Carlos Lillywhite, outgoing Treasurer Bob Azevedo, Secretary Dick Burris, Membership and Handicap Chairman Cecil Clark, and newly elected board members Andrew Strong, Paul Beckett, and Steve Cherry. Club Pro Leon Fourie was also present.

ELECTION OF NEW PRESIDENT: The first order of business was the election of a new President. Carlos Lillywhite was elected and he presided over the remainder of the meeting.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Board members selected the following as the new officers:

Vice President - Andrew Strong

Treasurer - Paul Beckett

Secretary - Steve Cherry

Cecil Clark will remain as Membership and Handicap Chairman and Dick Burris will become Social Chairman.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Outgoing Treasurer Bob Azevedo provided an updated report showing a balance of $1948.44. He also said that new signature cards would have to be accomplished for new officers requiring signature authority. A copy of these minutes should be attached to a request for new signature cards.

NEW BUSINESS: Bob Azevedo requested approval to spend $44.00 for a trophy for new Club Champion Jesse Ramirez. Board members approved the request.

The next meeting will take place at 8:30 A.M. on October 2, 2001 at the Stallion Springs Lodge.
