Minutes of Board Meeting

The
meeting was called to order by President Carlos Lillywhite. Additional board members present were Vice
President Andy Strong, Treasurer Paul Beckett, Secretary Steve Cherry,
Membership and Handicap Chairman Cecil Clark, and Board Member Dick Burris.
Club Pro Leon Fourie and Tournament Chairman Tom Crumrine were also
present.
TREASURER'S
REPORT: Treasurer Paul Beckett provided an updated report showing a balance of
$7347.41 as of January 7, 2001.
MEMBERSHIP
AND HANDICAP CHAIRMAN'S REPORT: Cecil Clark reported that the membership
currently stands at approximately 120.
He said that the new membership roster should be out by about the end of
January. Cecil also said that he would
be ordering rulebooks and bag tags. The
rulebooks will be available for sale in the clubhouse.
TOURNAMENT
CHAIRMAN'S REPORT: Tom Crumrine reminded us that the next tournament will be
the Superbowl Scramble on February 3rd. Tom is soliciting feedback via a questionnaire so that he can as
many people as possible to participate in our three major tournaments each
year.
CLUB
PROFESSIONAL'S REPORT: Leon Fourie said that he had no news on the status of
the Lodge. He also said that the new
maintenance building would be located in the upper parking lot of the
clubhouse.
The
meeting was adjourned at 10:45 A.M.
