Minutes of Board Meeting

DATE: Tuesday, May 14, 2002

TIME: 9:00 A.M.

PLACE: Horsethief Golf Club

The meeting was called to order by President Carlos Lillywhite. Additional board members present were Vice President Andy Strong, Treasurer Paul Beckett, Secretary Steve Cherry, Membership and Handicap Chairman Cecil Clark, and Board Member Dick Burris. Tournament Chairman Tom Crumrine was also present.

Andy Strong updated the board on the Barbeque plans for Sunday after the second round of the Member-Member Tournament. Burgers, dogs, salads and sodas will be provided.

We expect approximately 100 people to feed.

Paul Beckett’s Treasurer’s report shows that we have a balance of $4260.75 as of May 13^th. We still owe the Pro Shop $200.00 for range balls for the Tehachapi High School team.

Cecil Clark reported that there are now 135 members of the Men’s Club.

Tom Crumrine reported that the April 6-6-6 Tournament was a big success and that he expects 48 players for the Member-Member. Saturday will be a 8:00 A.M. Shotgun.

Tom also reported that we will have a qualifying tournament for the SCGA 2-Man Better Ball on July 27^th.
