Minutes of Board Meeting

DATE: Friday, September 20th, 2002

TIME: 1:20 PM

PLACE: Horse Thief Golf Club

The meeting was called to order by Outgoing President Carlos Lillywhite. However, Carlos had to leave immediately to participate in a playoff for the President’s Cup final match, so Outgoing Board Member Dick Burris presided at the meeting. Additional board members present were Secretary Steve Cherry, and new board members Roger Hooks, J. Taylor, Bill Duggins, and Tony Lazenby. Treasurer Paul Beckett and Board Member Jesse Ramirez were absent.

The purpose of the meeting was to select officers for the upcoming year. Steve Cherry was selected as the new President, J. Taylor as Vice-President, Paul Beckett as Treasurer, and Bill Duggins as Secretary. The Board also decided to contact Ted Andrews, Cecil Clark, and Tom Crumrine to see if they would be gracious enough to continue serving as Social Chairman, Membership and Handicap Chairman, and Tournament Chairman.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 PM.
