Meeting was called to order by Jim Walker.
Present were board members Jim Walker, Bill Duncan, Glenn
Simpson, Dave Theriault, Dave Cordes, Bob
Jones, and Chris Wieland. Also present were H.T.M.C.
members Jim
Dyer, Roger Hooks, Tom Crumrine, Gordon McWilliams, Dick Burris, Carlos
Lilywhite, and
Steve Cherry.
MINUTES: Minutes of the May meeting were
read and accepted as read.
TREASURE'S REPORT: Dave Cordes submitted a
balance of $5108.08. The report was accepted.
HANDICAP: Dave Theriault stated The
handicaps are coming in late from the S.C.G.A. again. Jim
Walker and Bob Jones will follow up.
OLD BUSINESS: Jim Walker announced he will
be placing the new cabinet for the handicap computer in
the foyer today after the meeting. Dave
Cordes gave Jim Walker a check for Jay Taylor for his expenses.
Tom Crumrine announced players will need
to sign up by Wednesday afternoon for the Friday game. Tee
times are Iimited to 32 players.
NEW BUSINESS: Tom Crumrine announced there
will be a July 4th
tournament. The format will be the
standard flag tournament. The field is
limited to 44 players with a start of 6:48 a.m.
TOURNAMENT: Steve Cherry announced the
pairings for the president's cup are posted and all of the
entrance fees have been collected, The
tournament for June 15"' was cancelled. A tournament has been
scheduled for Saturday, July 16th. Steve
will attempt to set the schedule for next year with the pro-shop.
MEMBER/GUEST: Due to a lack of
participation and concerns over the cost of the member/guest as
expressed by members ,the board voted to
cancel the tournament. However there will be a one day
tournament on Saturday, August 6th
open to guests with a valid handicap.
ADJOURNE: The meetmg was adjourned at
9:50a.m. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 5th,
2005 on the back patio of the 19th hole.
