HORSE THIEF CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

The Horse Thief Men’s Club held their club championship tournament on September 13^th and 14^th and the new club champion is Carl Carlson. Carl also finished first in the annual Member-Member and Member-Guest tournaments, so he came within one victory of winning the Horse Thief Slam this year. The President’s Cup was the only major that eluded Carl with Wayne Stuckey winning that one for the third straight year. This year’s Net Champion was Conrad Bineau with a sparkling 136 total for the two days. Others finishing in the money in the Championship Flight were Ian McDonald, Bob Elman, Bill Suitor, Steve Cherry, and Bill Duncan. First Flight winners were Joe McDonnell, Dave Theriault, Jay Taylor, Nick Lawrence, and Jerry Ng.
