A MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN ED EPPERSON
I am very happy to take over the golf in 2003. I'll be coming around to some of you for assistance, so don't be surprised when you see me.
Don't forget, if you are not a member of the Hole-in-One insurance program, you might want to reconsider. Get your $5.00 to me as soon as possible.
Odie can't wait for something to happen.
The next tournament will be a 2 man best ball on August 7th at Yountville. This course got rave reviews last year.
Branch 133 is hosting a special tournament at Hidden Valley Lake on August 11th. They have invited the golfers from the Napa County branches to join us for golf, lunch and a good time..
The last tournament of the month is a 4 man 3 best ball match at Rooster Run on the 26th.
The golf trip for 2003 has been run and all who went to Reno said it was great, although the weather was a trifle warm. Reno isn't supposed to get that hot. Talk is that next year we might want to move it back into June.
