This movie is good and Jeff is very good in it!  He has some nice moments with this role — for instance, when his wife traps his upper-body in the car window and threatens to drive off.  Cute!  --  songbird

Character Synopsis: Billy is Joe's boyhood nemesis and Overstreet's son-in-law.  At first, Billy is presented as the bad guy -- weak-willed, a jerk, a philanderer and afraid of his father-in-law.  But then you find out he is a good, loving father who wants his marriage to work.  So, there is more to him than Overstreet and his wife imply.  In the end, he turns out to be a better person than his wife and father-in-law -- as good a guy as Joe.  And after a free-for-all fight scene, Billy and Joe part on friendly terms.
