Plot: An army drill sergeant travels to Venice Beach, California, to seek revenge on the man who murdered his family, but finds himself in a three-way battle for stolen high-tech weapons.
| Character Synopsis: Marcus is a drug-dealer working for the FBI. He has a smart mouth and acts tough, but later, begins to regret his involvement with Savak who has too much control over him. He tries to get free, but only gets in deeper when he goes to drug lord Dexter Caine to make some quick get-away money. He is unnerved by Caine's cold cruelty. And somewhere along his path, Marcus has gained a conscience. He used a boy as a drug courier, but he has also developed a sense of responsibility and connection with him. When Savak threatens the boy, Marcus feels guilt and remorse for having delivered the boy to him. He starts to tell Savak not to hurt the boy, but Marcus is too afraid of Savak and backs off when threatened. Ultimately, Marcus pays for his crimes with his life. | |

Excellent job by Jeff Kober. He brings a great sense of inner conflict to his character, projecting the anguish of someone trapped in a situation he desperately wants to escape. -- songbird |
