"The X-files" (1993) ....Jeff Kober as Bear, the pilot.
Episode: Ice
(back)  (TV/Cable)     (Movies)    (Theater)   (Main Page)

Plot: Mulder and Scully fly
to an Arctic research
station to find out why
everyone murdered each
other.  Now Mulder and
Scully must find out why.

Dr Hodge: "Oh, can we see some credentials?"
Bear: "Credentials? The only credentials I have is that I'm the only pilot willing to fly you up there. You don't like those credentials, walk."
Character Synopsis: What
can I say?  Bear is not only
a good pilot, but an all
around good guy which he
demonstrates by coming to
Mulder's aid during the
dog attack.  And what does
he get for his trouble?  He
gets infected with a deadly
parasite instead of Mulder.  (Why doesn't Mulder feel guilty about that?)
Picture of Jeff Kober as Bear

Another excellent portrayal by Jeff Kober.  This episode setting induces a sense of claustophia and the cast is really great at generating very intense paranoia.  In addition, this episode is, visually, pretty gross.  The worst (best?) part is, of course when they restrain Bear and find the parasite moving (yuk) under his skin. -- songbird
