"Star Trek: Voyager" (2001) -- Jeff Kober plays "Iko"

Episode: Repentance Plot: An Alien prison ship carrying violent criminals has an accident and the prisoners escape onto Voyager, taking her crew hostage. Character Synopsis: Iko is an unrepentant killer sentenced to die for murdering a child ... until the Doctor injects him with some of Seven's nanoprobes in an attempt to heal injuries Iko received from some guards. Suddenly, a congenital defect in his brain is healed and Iko is painfully aware of what he has done, and experiences remorse, guilt and disgust for his past actions. Now Seven, through awareness of her own actions as a Borg, tries to convince the family Iko wronged to give him a second chance.

| This was an excellent episode, and for once, Jeff got to play a character other than the unrepentant, unredeemable killer. I have never been a big fan of any Star Trek series, but if this is an example of a typical Voyager episode, I'm truly sorry I missed it all this time. -- songbird | |
