We start having lunch at Eric's Deli Cafe on Bascom Avenue. Eric's isn't a Camden memory, but it is right next door to a restaurant called "the Garret." This Garret will look totally unfamiliar to anyone not still living in the area, but it's the descendant of the old two-story Pizza and Fondue joint that used to be in the Pruneyard. We'd go there for pizza and sodas on Friday nights.
