Art's Page

Hi, I'm Art. The proud father of this crazy family. A building contractor in northern California. While I enjoy taking a building from the ground up to a finished product, my real love is breeding, training, and field trialing AKC German Shorthaired Pointers. For the last fourteen years or so, I've been trialing dogs, and judging AKC Field Trials. There's just something about riding a smooth walking horse up to a dog pointing like a beautiful statue. WOOOO! That keeps me coming back!

Now I'd like to tell you about my animals, where they came from, and brag a little about their accomplishments. Check my GSP Page for "GSP Dogs of Distinction".

FC/AFC Crystals Flying Ace

I acquired this dog from Greg Anderson at seven weeks old. This was the first dog I trained for field trials. With help from Roy Hogland, we got him finished. Thanks Roy! Ace died at the age of nine, and was the best friend I ever had.

AFC Windjammers Pride

Pride came from Terry Zygalinski at Windjammer Kennels. She is out of FC Dixielands Rusty and FC Wildfires Windjammer. Her litter mate sisters are NFC/FC/AFC Windjammers Tina, and NFC Gruenfelds Dixielands Daisy. Pride produces awesome puppies. She has also been rated #1 in the top 10 list by the AKC.
Windjammers Windy Too

Windy is the daughter of Joe Vicari's FC/AFC Nicky Von Blitz and Pride. She is three years old, and coming along nicely. I'm sure she's going to be as great as the rest of her family.

Pure Black Country Pensom Rollers

Here's another twist, I told you we were crazy. I also breed and fly Pensom Rolling pigeons. High flying, fast spinning birds. From Bill Pensom, Howard McCully, and Bill Barret. To Herb Sparks, Joe Kiser, and Joe Borges. These are the best!

Rhett

Rhett is our Tennessee Walker. For long rides and field trials, a smooth gaited horse is the best choice for most people. He came from Roy Hogland, and replaced Sue, our old Quarter Horse. What a difference!

For the very best in riding pleasure and comfort, a gaited pleasure horse is the only way to fly! Tennessee Walkers, Missouri Fox Trotters, etc. are the smoothest riding horses there are for field trials. I have several quality horses for sale at this time. If you are interested in a gaited pleasure horse, top quality bird dog or anything on this page, send email.
